The 42-ppm MP C401 and MP C401SR offer color copy/print/scan and optional fax services in a compact floor-standing model design, along with a full range of advanced features and capabilities optimized for users without 11" x 17" output needs. Convenient features include a 50-sheet automatic reversing document feeder, Scan-to-USB/E-mail/ Folder, PDF Direct Printing, ID Card Copy and many other enhancements from previous models.

    General Features

    • Get powerful production in a small package
      Transform and deliver your critical information with the MP C401SR. This compact multifunction printer (MFP) offers high-quality color copying, printing, scanning and optional faxing, along with PCL6 and genuine Adobe Postscript 3 print drivers. And with the standard 250-sheet internal finishing and single position stapling of up to 50 sheets, you can keep more complex jobs in house — without any increase in footprint size.
    • Manage information with ease
      Control everything with the tilting 9" color control panel, whose customizable home screen and integrated USB and SD card slots support walk-up print environments. An optional 10.1" WSVGA Smart Operation Panel is available for users who prefer a tablet-like screen with pinch, tap and flick capabilities.
    • Don’t tie your information down
      With the scanning and optional Super 3G faxing, you can deliver information to where it’s needed, when it’s needed, and in the form it’s needed. The optional web browser unit lets you access cloud applications, and supports optional RICOH HotSpot printing. The embedded OCR option supports the creation of searchable PDF files and removes blank pages from scanned documents.

      The 320GB HDD supports secure local document storage and print-on-demand, storing up to 9,000 pages. And thanks to the 650-sheet standard paper capacity — with a maximum of 2,300 sheets available through additional, optional paper feed units — you can make quicker work of larger print jobs.

      The MP C401SR has improved power specifications and environmentally-friendly features to help reduce energy consumption and better control printing costs — including EPEAT Gold and Energy Star 2.0 certification.
    • Stay on top of your devices
      Remotely manage your printer fleet with @Remote. This internet-based tool lets you monitor your device usage, automate meter reads and toner alerts, and quickly alert your service provider of problems to shorten downtime and improve service.
